I’m delighted to share that South Coast First Aid – Training & Defibs Sales Ltd, and Gosport Borough Football Club, have teamed up in a Charity Partnership Scheme, alongside the Gosport Pantry, to deliver a range of training opportunities for the community. 

Back in 2012, at a Reserve game between Salisbury and Gosport Borough, a gentleman in his forties died of a heart attack while sitting and watching his game play. As medical help was too long in arriving, he sadly passed away. Jeremy Fox, President of Gosport Borough Football Club was sadly there to witness this. He said that that evening will haunt him for the rest of his life, especially as he, and everyone around him, didn’t know what to do.

So, as President of Gosport Borough Football Club, Jeremy is aiming to ensure as many people connected with the club and the pantry, are able to access first class training to help them know what to do if they encounter a real medical emergency. 

South Coast First Aid is absolutely delighted by the partnership news, and is looking forward to bringing engaging and interactive training to the club.
